a new autobiography, Chevy Chase claims that he was abused repeatedly by his mentally ill mother:
In . . . I’m Chevy Chase . . . And You’re Not, he claims his mother once slapped him “continually and hard, across the face. I don’t remember what it was for, or what I had done. I lived in fear all the time – deathly fear.
New information reveals, however, that Chase’s mother was not mentally ill as suspected, but merely psychic. On the fateful day in question, Ms. Chase had just received a vision of Vegas Vacation.
