Leachman to Brooks: Dem’s Fightin’ Words
The Cloris Leachman/Mel Brooks spat over the casting of Brooks’ Young Frankenstein musical has been taken to the next level, with the 81-year old Leachman challenging the soon-to-be 81-year old Brooks to a fight.
“Cloris challenges Mel to three rounds in the ring, and we’ll see who’s left standing,” Leachman’s rep, Steve Rohr, told [The New York Post].
If the prospect of two octogerians sparring for pride doesn’t prime your pump, Leachman added that if she wins, she and Charlotte Rae will have a little Facts of Life sisters threesome with Carl Reiner.
