Anna Nicole Smith’s Life Seems to Be Settling Back to Normal

Anna Nicole Smith’s lawyer, Howard K. Stern, says he is the father of Smith’s newborn baby. He told CNN’s Larry King last night:

“Anna and I have been in a relationship and we love each other, and it’s been going on for a very long time, and because of my relationship as her lawyer, we felt that it was best to keep everything hidden.”

Larry Birkhead, a photographer, believes that he is the father of the baby. He’s gone so far as to claim there is DNA proof. But Stern contends:

“Based on when the timing of when the baby was born, there really is no doubt in either of [his and Smith's] minds.”

I don’t know who to believe. A part of me sides with Stern because he’s a lawyer and I take everything lawyers say at face value. Another part of me thinks Birkhead is the father because his name is “Birkhead” and I’ve always been fond of that last name. And there’s still another part of me that thinks I’m the father because it would be just my luck if I was. God, I really don’t need this right now. The new TV season started and I’m already behind on my viewing and now I’ve gone ahead and fathered yet another child. Damnit!
