Retraction

at Junkiness strive to be an infallible beacon of truth and integrity. But just like God himself, even we make the occassional mistake, and we like to be the first ones to admit it.
Yesterday we reported on a rumor that Congressman Jerry Weller (R-IL) might have been sexually involved with a 16-year-old female page, drawing the conclusion that there could actually be a heterosexual left in the Republican party. However, the rumor has been debunked to some degree, and we would like to hereby offer a retraction and apology.
We are very sorry for suggesting Jerry Weller might not be gay. Jerry Weller may in fact be extremely gay, kind of gay, or bi-curious. We simply don’t know. Moreover, as far as we can tell there’s no hard evidence available to suggest any GOP lawmakers aren’t flaming homosexuals. Again, we apologize for reporting otherwise.
