Reality Show Loser Gets Hit With Another Dose of Reality
Raj Bhakta, a loser on the reality TV show The Apprentice, can now add “loser of a congressional race” to his resume. Bhakta lost his quest for Pennsylvania’s 13th district seat to Democratic incumbent Allyson Schwartz. The campaign was at times contentious, as Bhakta resorted to dirty attack ads in an effort to sway voters.
As part of his campaign, during which it was revealed Raj had been arrested twice for drunk driving, Raj accused his opponent of performing abortions without the patient’s permission, although Schwartz is not a doctor.
No word yet on what Bhakta’s plans are for the future. Some suggest he may run again in 2008, while others think he has his sights set on getting wasted and trying to have sex with that Trishelle chick from The Real World.
