The Junkiness staff is constantly tracking down items of news and gossip to report to your eyes and ears and other input holes. We don’t have time to be famous professional comedians. We just don’t have the time.

So we’ve asked some real comedians to donate their thoughts and ideas and thoughdeas and idots to the ever-explanding dominating pressence that is Junkiness.

H. Jon Benjamin: You recognize his voice from Home Movies (Coach McGuirk/Jason), Aqua Teen Hunger Force (Mothmonsterman/Mr. Sticks), The Venture Bros (The Master), Wet Hot American Summer (Can of Vegetables), and Dr. Katz (Ben Katz), as well as in the new animated series Freak Show that he co-created/produces with David Cross. You recognize his face from Not Another Teen Movie and New York Minute (yes you do!). You recognize his genius from everything else, including his hosting of Tinkle and Midnight Pajama Jam and the guest editorial he wrote for Junkiness.

Jennifer Dziura: a New York-based comedian best known for orchestrating the Williamsburg Spelling Bee, a real spelling bee for adults, as featured in the New York Times. She was filmed as an expert on “how to be witty” for VH-1’s reality dating show “Can’t Get a Date,” has written for McSweeney’s, appeared on the nationally syndicated Bob & Tom radio show, and is a contributor to “The Idiot’s Guide to Jokes” (Alpha/Penguin 2006). She just returned from an East Coast tour of her solo show, “What Philosophy Majors Do After College,” including sold-out shows in D.C. and Norfolk, and will hit Ohio, Los Angeles, and Portland in the next few months. Shawn Towner: Wordsmith, internet auteur, and respected scholar of the vanishing mall culture of the Great American Southwest, Shawn currently resides in Arizona, where he examines the art of cinema, the possibility of imprisoning Jennifer Love Hewitt in his basement, and the coming monkey apocalypse on his website, I Am the Man Who Will Fight for Your Honour.
